This Halloween you will need extra candy on hand for the crowds you will draw when shopping at one of the local Halloween stores. I love decorating my lawn and house with spooky items I find at the spirit store near me. Halloween costume stores are perfect for finding a unique costume to wear for that party, or just for entertaining visitors when they stop by.

First I plan out the theme for my yard such as “Frankenstein” or maybe this year it will be the witch’s cauldron. Then I head to a Halloween store near me and see what kind of props, ghoulies, and goblins I can find to decorate my yard or front porch. Once it gets close to Fall I check out when the costume store near me will be opening for the season. There are usually several if you are in a larger city. Frightful moving items such as large jumping spiders and wolves have become quite popular in Halloween costume stores.

You can also purchase fog machines for that extra spooky atmosphere, sound effects machines or strobe lights to make your decorations even spookier. If there are no Halloween stores nearby your house surely you can find something within the next couple towns. You may have to wait until the last few weeks before Halloween, but there is usually an option nearby.
